Francisco TARANTO JUNIOR
When he was a teenager, Francisco discovered in Rio de Janeiro, the wonderful city where he was born, two passions that he will never give up: climbing and photography. In 2002, he took part in his first expericence in Big Wall, as a photographer. That kicked it off: he left the realm of photo-journalism in order to do reports on mountainous world. After 26 years spent in Rio, it was time to go to France. Since 2011, Francisco works with his wife Sandra Ducasse as a photographer and filmmaker specializing in climbing.
Anna and Tomas
Born in 2010 and 2011, they follow their parents in different places/countries. And they enjoy to be outside, to climb, to make slack line…
Fellipo the dog
By studying STAPS (sport sciences) and scientific communication in Tarbes, then in Toulouse, Montréal and Grenoble, Sandra kept moving around when she was at university! There was no question of staying in the same place for a long time. So, it was with great pleasure that, once she had finished her studies, she took to the road with Francisco and their 2 children, Anna and Tomas. She, who has always loved sport, is happy to be able to combine a nomadic life with her job reporting on rock climbing.
Her other job: manager of two climbers, Caroline Ciavaldini and James Pearson… Their website
